Cancer Center Investigators publish two papers.

O. John Semmes, PhD, Anthem Professor for Cancer Research, Professor of Microbiology and Molecular Cell Biology and the Director of the Leroy T. Canoles Jr. Cancer Research Center, co-authored “The Tudor Domain Protein Spindlin 1 is Involved in the Intrinsic Antiviral Defense to Incoming HBV and HSV-1 Viruses,” published in PLOS Pathogens.

Dr. Semmes, along with Julius Nyalwidhe, PhD, Assistant Professor of Microbiology and Molecular Cell Biology, co-authored “Serum Proteomic Analysis of a Pre-symptomatic Multiple Sclerosis Cohort,” published in the European Journal of Neurology.
