The Cooperative Borrowing Program allows students, faculty and staff at Virtual Library of Virginia (VIVA) institutions to borrow materials on-site from any participating library. EVMS does not participate in VIVA's Cooperative Borrowing Program, but many state-supported universities in the area do participate.
EVMS students, faculty and staff may borrow materials on-site from the following institutions:
Borrowers must present a valid form of photo identification, such as an institutional ID, as well as proof of current status in order to borrow materials. Lending libraries use the universal borrowing current status webpage to confirm status.
Students who wish to borrow on-site from other colleges and universities in the area will need a Virginia Tidewater Consortium card, which is available at the EVMS library's Circulation Desk.
