New Library Catalog

This July 1st the library is retiring its catalog and A-Z electronic book and journal finder and adopting a new system, OCLC’s WorldCat. With WorldCat, users will be able to search for all books and journals at EVMS regardless of format. Users will also have the option to search at the book chapter and journal article level. The default search only looks for EVMS-owned or subscribed resources, but users can choose to search worldwide through the entire WorldCat, the world’s largest library catalog.
We are still making tweaks to the system but you can find a link to the WorldCat catalog here - https://evms.on.worldcat.org/discovery. Links are also available and on the Library’s Quick Links page. Soon, all existing catalog and A-Z links will be directed to WorldCat.
The system is very intuitive, but please see an introduction to the system created by OCLC - WorldCat Discovery Video. Look for a tutorial specific to EVMS shortly.
