Why Family Medicine: FM allows for a unique partnership with patients to work toward their healthcare goals thereby improving the quality of a person's life. I am excited to build these relationships with patients.
Why PFM: PFM felt like home from my first interaction with the residents and faculty. There is an educational atmosphere dedicated to training residents to provide excellent patient-centered care while giving deference to how an individual chooses to practice the art of medicine.
Fun fact about yourself or hobbies: Hobbies include running, tennis, and snow skiing outside of the home or cooking with my partner and playing board games when the weather isn't cooperative. Our dog, a 9 year old pound hound, prefers staying in the air conditioning.
Future Goals: Outpatient Family medicine and community preceptor for medical students and residents
Special Areas of Interest: LGBTQ, transgender hormone affirming therapy, PrEP/PEP, and abortion care
