Applying to the Master of Physician Assistant program begins with a review of our admission requirements. Individuals with broad educational backgrounds, prior healthcare experience and those who are underrepresented in the healthcare professions are encouraged to apply.
It is the applicant’s responsibility to follow up with CASPA and EVMS to make sure all requirements are met and all documents are received in a timely manner to comply with the published deadlines. Please note the following deadlines remain in effect for matriculation into the specific classes below:
CASPA Application and CASPer Test Deadline
- PA class entering January 2020: March 1, 2019
- PA class entering January 2021: March 1, 2020
- PA class entering January 2020: May 2022
- PA class entering January 2021: May 2023
It is best to apply to our program shortly after you have completed all 8 prerequisite courses and have the final grades listed on your transcript.
Early application does not guarantee an interview or give the application any advantage. All applications will be considered as if they arrived at the same time.
Healthcare experience for currently held positions will be accounted for by our Application Review Committee.
