EVMS' Histotechnology tuition and fees are set annually in June by the Board of Visitors and are subject to change without notice. Questions about tuition and fee charges on student accounts should be directed to Financial Services.

Enrollment Requirements:

Student enrollment at EVMS requires several processes.  For timely financial aid processing, the student must confirm their social security number and complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application.  All students residing in the United States and Canada must submit a criminal background check report as part of the Conditions of Acceptance within 10 days of accepting an offer.  Official transcripts must be sent directly from each college/university attended to the EVMS Office of Admissions.  Electronic transcripts can be emailed to EVMS Admissions.  Transcripts must contain grades for all courses completed prior to the anticipated matriculation date.

A Histotechnology program-specific orientation packet is provided to each student and posted on Blackboard.  Program-specific materials such as a booklist and course syllabi are made available during orientation.  The orientation packet includes: A) welcome letter, B) faculty directory, C) program curriculum and course descriptions, D) fall semester required textbooks and course syllabi, E) current clinical site list, F) Histotechnology (ASCP) examination content guideline and outline, G) EVMS Student Handbook, H) School of Health Professions Policies & Procedures, I) EVMS Code of Conduct.  Disability accommodations are available for those requesting them due to disability and students are required to complete the application form with the requested documentation as instructed in the EVMS Student Disability Guide.
