Research Boot Camps

‌for Residents, Fellows, and GME Faculty

The Accreditation Council for the Graduate Medical Education Programs (ACGME) requires residents and fellows to complete a scholarly activity prior to their graduation from their training program. The EVMS Office of Graduate Medical Education is working with the Center for Health Analytics and Discovery (CHAD) on providing a Research Boot Camp to help meet this educational need. The Boot Camp experience is a 1-day event where residents, fellows and GME faculty will learn how to develop the elements of a research protocol and the process for data requests, extraction, and analysis. The Boot Camps Dates for 2016 are January 22, April 22, and August 12. For this pilot program, enrollment is limited to residents, fellows and GME faculty.
