University Accounting Service (UAS) is a third-party servicer that works with EVMS students regarding federal Perkins, Title VII (health services) and private EVMS institutional loans.
Students with one or more of those loans in their elegibility notice will receive an email from UAS directing them to the Sign My Loan site. Students cannot complete this step until they receive their email.
Sign My Loan is a safe, legitimate site on which to transact business.
The Sign My Loan site will direct students through the loan completion process for all steps required to receive their loan(s). If a student has more than one type of loan, the process must be completed for each loan.
Disbursement of funds occurs the first day of the term if all steps are completed. The online self-certification process must be completed for Title VII and private EVMS loans prior to release of funds.
