The virtual ceremony will include a presentation of graduates with a slide containing the student’s name, degree and a photo and/or message submitted by the graduate. Additionally, each graduate will have an individual recognition video clip that will include the graduate’s slide as well as a short personal video message that the student will record and submit in advance. The video clips will be available to download and share with family, friends and on social media.

All graduates received an invitation email from EVMS Special Events (StageClip@events.evms.edu) with a customized link and instructions on how to provide this information. A generic slide will be displayed for any graduate who chooses not to customize their slide or participate in the day-of viewing. You must submit your information by Friday, April 23, 2021 to ensure that it is included in the virtual ceremony. If you cannot locate your personal invitation to upload content, you may visit https://upload.stageclip.com/email and enter your EVMS email address to request that a new invitation be sent. Remember, your invitation is unique to you, please do not share your link with other graduates. 

All personalized slides will be reviewed by EVMS Marketing and Communications to ensure they meet EVMS’ institutional standards. If there are any issues or questions, you will be notified via email and given an opportunity to edit the information. If the edits are not submitted in time, the generic slide will be shown instead in the virtual ceremony.

View best practices below:

  • Wear your EVMS regalia in your photo and/or video. The photo you submit will appear on your graduate slide in the virtual ceremony and in your individual recognition video clip. 
  • Include a short written message (150 characters including spaces)
  • Your video message should be no longer than 10 seconds. The video will not be presented during the slide presentation in the Virtual Commencement ceremony. It will only be included in your personalized StageClip.
