What I Like About the Program: The thing that drew me the most to this program was the camaraderie that I felt between the faculty, residents and staff (that was the selling point for me).  Awesome co-residents!!  On top of that, this program certainly is the best in the region and the hospital is a referral center which leads us to take care of a lot of high-risk patients.  SNGH was ranked the number 1 hosipital in Virginia for the last two years.  The program houses some of the most renowned OB/GYN physicians in the United States and I am sure that I will get a great education here.  The program sets a great path for fellowship as well and has a good track record of allowing its residents to match into many of the sub-specialities.

Why I Chose the EVMS Ob/Gyn Residency Program: Everyone is friendly and welcoming, creating a great environment to learn.  We act as a team, supporting each other at all levels.  The attending physicians are approachable and eager to teach.  Most importantly though, we are a family and frequently get together outside of labor and delivery to have a little fun!
