Why Family Medicine: Family Medicine offers a constant challenge applying the broad knowledge base I gained during my medical training, and I love being able to serve community members of all ages, in some ways emulating the experiences I had seeing my Family Physician growing up. I really love the fact that I can never predict what problems our patients may have each visit, the challenge that offers really keeps me on my toes!
Why PFM: Portsmouth Family Medicine promised (and has delivered) a premier clinical training opportunity as an unopposed program, being a first responder running Code Blues and Rapid Response Calls at Marview Medical Center gives invaluable experience, and working in our Outpatient Clinic has given me a strong foundation to be a competent provider upon graduating residency, in addition to providing an very desirable location to live and work in close proximity to the ocean and rivers, in an affordable area with a wealth of history yet access to all the modern conveniences of big city living.
Fun fact about yourself or hobbies: I enjoy cooking and gardening
