Coats for Kids is an annual project that involves a large portion of the medical and health professions student classes.
Working alongside business and media partners, EVMS students help collect donated new and gently used coats and other warm winter clothing. The students then distribute the clothing to needy children and families.
Since starting the program a quarter century ago, EVMS students have handed out tens of thousands of coats to families across the region.
