Now Accepting Abstracts for 2025! Submissions are due February 3, 2025 at 11:59 p.m.

Faculty, educators, staff, and students (including distance education) are eligible to submit an abstract! We will also accept abstracts submitted/presented as other conferences for review but that must be clearly indicated and must be modified to include any new/revised data since the last proposal.

ADIT provides examples of areas of educational scholarship.

Submissions are welcome for the following:

  • Oral presentation and innovations: these will be approximately 10-minute presentations followed by 5 minutes of Q&A. There will be more than one presentation in a session.
  • Poster Presentations

Submission categories for oral presentation and poster submissions:

  • Works in progress: this is for authors who are seeking feedback for a project in its early stages. These projects will have a stated question and objectives for the scholarly activity. They could be projects in a stage of development, or with early findings, short term outcomes, or unexpected results.
  • Completed research: this is for authors who have completed a scholarly project I education to allow them to showcase current/emerging work, present results or to seek feedback.

Each abstract will be reviewed by members of the Fine Family Academy of Educators. They will provide you with feedback on your submission (peer-reviewed). Submissions are due no later than February 3, 2025, at 11:59 p.m .. Authors will be notified of their selection to participate in Educational Scholarship Day in March 2025.

The review committee may determine the format for the presentation of accepted abstracts based on reviews. Authors will have an option to indicate if they would only like to be considered for a specific category (poster, presentation, or both).

All abstracts should include:

  1. A problem statement to define the importance of the work and how it addresses the problem or advances what is already known (clear goals/adequate presentation)
  2. Use of appropriate methodology to address the problem/educational practice (appropriate methods)
  3. The results of the intervention (if known) or significance to educational practice.
  4. Next steps/lessons learned (reflective critique). Required for completed research only.
