Matthew Schenk, MS, PHR, serves as the Associate Vice President of Human Resources.

Matthew Schenk

Mr. Schenk has responsibility for recruitment and onboarding, total rewards/compensation and benefits, employee relations, employee health and safety, training and development, strategic planning, human resources information systems, data, and analytics.

He oversees the following departments: Human Resources and Occupational Health.

Mr. Schenk earned his bachelor's degree in psychology and his master's degree in industrial/organizational psychology from Radford University. He joined EVMS in 2005, serving many roles within Human Resources before being becoming department head in 2009.
