EVMS recognizes that it's our people who make us strong. We know that our success is due to the hard work and dedication of our faculty and staff, and EVMS rewards those individuals for their commitment to our mission, hard work and years of service.
The EVMS Faculty and Staff Recognition Program recognizes individuals who are celebrating years of continuous service in five year intervals*. Faculty and staff members attaining 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45 and 50 years of continuous service are honored at a special ceremony held each Fall.

5-15 Years of Service

20-35 Years of Service

- Receive a cash gift

40-50 Years of Service
- Receive a year of service memento
- Receive a signed letter of appreciation from the Office of the President

*Note: As defined by Human Resources, continuous years of paid service as an EVMS compensated employee (both faculty and staff) will be recognized. Continuous years of service for non-compensated faculty members will also be recognized and is defined by Faculty Affairs and Professional Development.
