Mark E. Shaves, M.D.

Dr. Shaves received his Bachelor of
Science degree magna cum laude from the University of California,
Berkeley in 1984 and his Medical Degree from Albert Einstein College of
Medicine in New York in 1989. He was Chief Resident in the Radiation
Oncology branch of the National Cancer Institute and completed residency
training there in 1996.
Dr. Shaves served as an Army Flight Surgeon in Virginia as well as Korea. He was Assistant Chief in
the Radiation Oncology Division at Madigan Army Medical Center.
Dr. Shaves' primary interests are in genitourinary and pediatric malignancies. He is a member of several professional organizations including the American College of Radiology, Southwest Oncology Group, and Children's Oncology Group.
