 Robert Given, M.D.Assistant Professor of Urology
Eastern Virginia Medical School
A native of Norfolk, Virginia, Dr. Given completed his
undergraduate education at Hampden-Sydney College. He graduated from the Medical College of Virginia in 1988.
After completing his surgical internship and residency at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia, in 1993, Dr. Given underwent a one-year fellowship in Urologic Oncology at the University of Florida, Gainesville which he completed in 1994.
Dr. Given currently holds an appointment as Assistant Professor in Urology at Eastern Virginia Medical School and is a partner in Devine-Tidewater Urology, Ltd. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of numerous professional medical societies. He also serves on local cancer advisory committees and is Secretary/Treasurer of the Tidewater Urological Society. |
