Michael D. Fabrizio, M.D.

Dr. Fabrizio
received his undergraduate degree from the College of William and Mary
and subsequently obtained his medical degree from the Medical College
of Virginia in 1992. He completed his surgery and urology residency
at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. This was followed by
a fellowship in Endourology at the Brady Urological Institute at Johns
Hopkins University where he also served on the faculty as Instructor
in Urology.
Dr. Fabrizio is a member of numerous medical societies,
including the American Medical Association, American Urological
Association, Endourology Society, Society of Urologic Oncology, and is
a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Fabrizio has special
interest and training in minimally invasive urological surgery,
including laparoscopic surgery for a variety of conditions, as well as percutaneous and
ureteroscopic surgery for kidney stones.
Dr. Fabrizio is in
private practice with Devine-Tidewater Urology and serves as an
Assistant Professor of Urology at the Eastern Virginia Medical School
in Norfolk, Virginia. He has recently established an Endourology
Fellowship at the Eastern Virginia Medical School and is the Principal
Investigator in numerous clinical trials.
