Department of Urology Residency Program

How to Apply

The Urology Residency Program accepts applications only through the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS). The applicant must include the following information:

  • application/CV
  • personal statement
  • photograph
  • 3 letters of recommendation
  • medical school dean’s letter
  • medical school transcript
  • United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) scores

After receiving your application through ERAS, the Residency Program reviews candidate applications and selects individuals who qualify for interviews. Interviews are by invitation only. All applicants will be notified by e-mail whether or not they are selected for an interview. We offer three days of interviews in November/December to visit our program. They begin at 10:30 a.m. and usually are finished between  4 and 5 p.m.

The 2007 deadline for applications is October 1.

Military applicants are selected through GMESB. Applications are limited to active-duty physicians who should apply through their respective services http://nshs.med.navy.mil/gme/mcpp.htm.
