Dr. Jordan has wide and varied academic
interests and is an innovative leader in the field of genitourinary
reconstructive surgery. He is keenly motivated in the areas of
investigation and has made notable contributions to the literature. He
also participates in numerous national and international medical
conferences and serves as a visiting professor at many centers
throughout the world.Dr. Jordan
is Director of the Devine Center for Genitourinary Reconstructive
Surgery at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. He has received the Dean’s
Faculty Achievement Award, by Community Faculty, Eastern Virginia
Medical School, 1997 and National Registry of Who’s Who, Life Member,
2000 Edition.
Dr. Jordan has been President of the Genitourinary Reconstructive
Surgeons (GURS), 1992-1994, President of the Virginia Urological Society
from 1994-95, and President of the American College of Surgeons,
Virginia Chapter from 1999-2000. He is Secretary-Treasurer, Societe
Internationale d’Urologie-American Chapter. Dr. Jordan is Trustee for
the American Board of Urology.
