Standard Student Budget
The student budget is based on the student's year in school,
degree/ certificate program, length of academic year, and state
residency. Living expenses for the student budget are determined after
surveying the student body and comparing results to the Bureau of Labor and Statistics.
The student budget is finalized at the end of April when the Board of
Visitors determines tuition costs for the next year.
Adjustments to the Standard Student Budget
During the course of an academic year, circumstances may
arise that cause a student to need financial assistance in excess of the standard student
budget. In certain situations, the student budget may be expanded to include additional
items.
