For Incoming Students - Preview Weekend April 1-2, 2011

Preview Weekend is a truly unique way to learn more about EVMS with events kicking off during the early evening on Friday and running through Saturday night. We have arranged activities designed to educate you on what life as a medical student at EVMS is all about. You will hear from the Dean of Admissions and Student Affairs, financial aid, and other services available to help make the transition into medical school as smooth as possible. Beyond this, you will have an opportunity to hear from some of your future professors, learn about the many clubs and activities we have at EVMS, and have your questions answered by current students.

We feel that EVMS is an outstanding institution both academically and particularly outside the classroom due to our student body. To give you a chance to meet both your future classmates and current students, we have planned a number of fun social events during the evenings. As with the daytime sessions, whether or not you can make it out has no bearing on your admission status. However, we strongly encourage you to take advantage of the weekend by coming out, asking lots of questions, meeting as many people as you can, and having as much fun as possible!
