What About Follow-up?

We recommend scheduling a one-month follow-up visit (or sooner if problems are occurring), and yearly visits. During these visits, we check weight and vital signs. We can also check pressure on the CPAP machine for those using CPAP and review signs and symptoms that may suggest a continuing sleep problem. For those patients not using CPAP or using it with difficulty, we discuss alternative treatments or try to solve the problems occurring with CPAP. Those not scheduled for a 12-month follow-up visit should call (800) 237-4822, Extension 8-3322 or (757) 388-3322.
