| Our obstetricians-gynecologists
offer obstetric, gynecologic and primary health care for women
throughout their lives. General Obstetric Care
Our physicians provide general obstetric care for women
during normal pregnancies. Their patients are women who are in
good health or who have common medical conditions. Women
requiring more specialized obstetric care are referred to the
Maternal-Fetal Medicine partners within our group. Our
physicians deliver babies at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital,
on the same campus as Eastern Virginia Medical School, at
Bon Secours DePaul Medical Center in Norfolk, and Maryview
Medical Center in Portsmouth.
General Gynecology
Our physicians provide preventive and routine gynecologic
care, including the treatment of endometriosis, pelvic pain,
sexually transmitted diseases, the symptoms of menopause,
uterine fibrosis and adolescent gynecology.
Specialized Gynecology
Our gynecologists provide specialized gynecologic care for
the comprehensive evaluation and treatment of pelvic organ
prolapse, urinary incontinence and vulvar pain.
Special Programs
Special classes for expectant families, including a maternity
unit tour at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, infant CPR and
safety, Lamaze childbirth preparation, infant care for
expectant parents, breastfeeding, and more, are available. |
