Your Right to Know
Eastern Virginia Medical School and
Campus Security consider the security and safety of anyone on campus to
be our number one priority.
Eastern Virginia Medical School’s
campus security reports are available upon request. This report includes
statistics for the most recent three-year period concerning reported
crimes that occurred on campus, in certain off-campus buildings or
property owned or controlled by EVMS or affiliates, and on public
property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the
campus.
The report also includes policies
concerning campus security, such as crime prevention, alcohol and drug
use, sexual assault, the state sex-offender registry, missing person
investigation procedures and the reporting of any crimes that may occur
on the campus.
You may obtain a copy of any or all of
these reports by contacting the Campus Security at 700 W. Olney Road,
