- Always lock your bicycle when
leaving it unattended.
Bicycle Riding Safety Tips
- Always wear a bicycle helmet. The
most serious injuries from bicycle accidents are to the head.
- Keep your bicycle in good
condition.
- Always let cars and people go
first.
- Slow down and check traffic at all
corners.
- Keep both hands on the handle
bars.
- Use hand signals when making
turns.
- Walk your bicycle across busy
streets.
- Never go in and out of traffic!
- Never go between two cars
- Obey all traffic signals and signs
- Ride in a single line.
- Keep to the right when riding.
