IRB Electronic Submission Process

The EVMS IRB electronic submission system was fully  launched June 1st, 2010. Paper only submissions are no longer accepted by the IRB Office; all research matters for review must be submitted electronically. To access the new electronic IRB system everyone who uses the IRB will need to obtain a user ID and password. If you do not yet have a user ID and password, please contact the IRB Office.

NOTE: Usernames and passwords are provided to individuals for their exclusive use. Sharing of this information is not appropriate. Logging onto the system under another person's identity to submit or approve documents is considered the same as falsifying a hard signature on a research application and related documents.  User logins are randomly verified by an audit process within IRB Manager.
