Occupational Health & Safety
Program
The Occupational Health and Safety Program is a well-designed and comprehensive approach to safety, training, and medical surveillance for faculty, staff, and students working in laboratories and/or in contact with tissues, blood, and body fluids.
The goal of the program is to protect faculty, staff, and students through prevention training and by providing appropriate and timely response to injuries, illnesses, and exposures. The program will be reviewed annually and enhanced as necessary.
