Sentara Norfolk General HospitalSentara Norfolk General Hospital

A 569-bed tertiary care facility and level 1 trauma center in the Eastern Virginia Medical Center, Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is the main teaching hospital for most of EVMS' 16 residencies, including Radiology, with over 76,000 radiologic exams in 2003. It further serves as the tertiary care referral center for the 1.6 million inhabitants of the Hampton Roads area of Virginia.

Rotations at Norfolk General include chest, musculoskeletal, ultrasound, neuroradiology, computed tomography (CT), gastrointestinal/ genitourinary, vascular interventional (including neurointerventional), breast imaging, nuclear medicine (including PET), and cardiac magnetic resonance.

Bon Secours DePaul Medical CenterBon Secours DePaul Medical Center

A 401-bed general acute care medical facility, Bon Secours DePaul Medical Center provides all imaging modalities and serves as a training site in the Radiology residency program for gastrointestinal radiology, nuclear medicine, thoracic imaging, CT, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

Children's Hospital of The King's DaughtersChildren's Hospital of The King's Daughters

CHKD is a 186-bed hospital, with a neonatal intensive care unit, a pediatric intensive care unit, and a multitude of other state-of-the-art centers for children. The hospital is located in the Eastern Virginia Medical Center and provides pediatric care for eastern Virginia and North Carolina. CHKD offers a full range of pediatric Diagnostic Radiology, performing over 56,000 radiologic exams in 2003, including CT, MRI, and state-of-the-art vascular ultrasound.
