RAM has become so popular among students that participation is determined by lottery. The students typically lend a hand in the diabetes area, led by faculty and staff from the EVMS Strelitz Diabetes Center, and in the ophthalmology area, working alongside EVMS ophthalmology faculty.

At right are some of the EVMS students and faculty members who attended: from left, Evan Dombrosky, MD Class of 2018; Heath Patel, MD Class of 2016; Aubrey Trejo, MD Class of 2016; Terri Babineau, MD (MD ’90, Family and Community Medicine Residency ’93), Associate Professor of Family and Community Medicine, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs and Director of Service Learning; Kim Moloney, RN, Diabetes Educator, Strelitz Diabetes Center; Julian Henderson, MD Class of 2018; and Nick Dreyer, MD Class of 2018.
