EVMS Ophthalmology is
fortunate to be an integral part of the Thomas R.
Lee Center of Ocular Pharmacology. This is the laboratory of Dr. Patricia
Williams, Ph.D., Professor of Pharmacology, Associate Professor of Ophthalmology. EVMS ophthalmology residents have been recognized many times for excellence in
ophthalmology research, including winning the Virginia Society of Ophthalmology resident
section five of the last six years, and winning the Eastern Virginia School of Medicine
Research Day resident section for five consecutive years. All residents are encouraged to
participate in a research project, and to present their project during their second year
at ARVO in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. |
