Salary*
  • PGY-2: $43,629
  • PGY-3: $44,797
  • PGY-4: $45,967

*Stipends are adjusted yearly to reflect changes in the cost of living

  • One-month basic science course in Houston, year 1, most expenses paid
  • Academy of Ophthalmology meeting, year 3, most expenses paid
  • Armed Forces Institute of Pathology course, year 3, most expenses paid
  • Expenses paid for any resident who presents an original research project at a conference
  • One week of paid leave in year 3 for employment interviews
  • One week Office Practice Management Course, year 2
