The Occupational Health Department provides the following services to faculty, staff, residents and students by appointment:
  • Bloodborne pathogen training
  • Drug testing
  • Health forms for incoming residents and students
  • Medical clearance for respirator fit-testing
  • Medical surveillance
  • Pre-placement health assessments
  • Risk assessment/enrollment in Occupational Health & Safety Program for lab animal users
  • Treatment for blood/body fluid exposures
  • Treatment for communicable disease exposures
  • Tuberculosis surveillance
  • Tuberculosis training
  • Vaccinations
  • Work-related injuries and illnesses

Release of Medical Records

The Occupational Health Department needs a written request to release documentation of immunizations and tuberculosis surveillance. You may e-mail your request to one of the department staff, fax a written request, or mail a request. Please allow 7 days for medical records requests to be processed.
