Research
Combined residents are required to present a scholarly project during
their final year of training. Residents work closely with a faculty
member to develop a project which, in many cases, has resulted in a
regional or national presentation.
During their senior "Research
Day," combined and categorical internal medicine residents present
their project. We are pleased that the combined residents have been
recognized for the quality of their work in this setting. Thus far we
have had two combined residents present their research projects as
posters at the National ACP meeting.
