EASTERN VIRGINIA MEDICAL SCHOOL in Norfolk, Va., is accepting applications for a
BC/BE psychiatrist at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. This is a
full-time position in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and
involves teaching and supervision of psychiatric residents and medical students.
Clinical responsibilities include inpatient
treatment, consultations and emergency room evaluations at Sentara Norfolk
General Hospital in Norfolk, as well as outpatient services at Eastern Virginia
Medical School's Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. The position
also encourages participation in research, either in conjunction with resident
research supervision or directly through the attraction of grant and foundation
funding.
