Community Education

Programs to educate the community regarding aging and age-associated challenges, problems, and diseases have been given to area support groups, Senior Services of Southeastern Virginia (area agency on aging), Alzheimer’s Association of Hampton Roads, Norfolk Mayor’s Commission on Aging/Long Term Care Coordination, Hampton Roads Caregivers Coalition, hospice agencies, nursing and mental health associations, service organizations, local chapters of AARP, and senior citizens clubs and centers throughout Tidewater.
