In an effort to assure that every student is an informed borrower, EVMS and federal regulations require every student to participate in an entrance interview before applying for federal loans. The entrance interview is an integral part of the student's financial plan. It communicates information about the student's responsibilities and about each loan the student plans to borrow: the grace periods, deferment options, interest rates, prepayments, consolidation options and general repayment obligations. Entrance interviews will be conducted during the student's orientation program.
