The Emergency Student Loan is available to students for whom EVMS is the school of record, who need a short-term (30-day) loan for emergency situations. 

• Contact the Office of Financial Aid at 446-5804 for an application and complete details and restrictions pertaining to this loan.
• Applications should be submitted to the Director of Financial Aid for approval. 
• Loans of over $500 require approval by two OFA staff and/or the Associate Dean.  
• If approved, the loan is processed by the Student Loan Officer in Financial Services.
• A minimum of 24 hours during regular business hours is required for processing once approved. 
• All checks are delivered by the Student Loan Officer at Smith Rogers Hall.
