HarborFest, during the first
weekend in June, marks Norfolk's
annual tribute to life
by the sea. Tall sailing ships from around the world cruise into
Norfolk and drop anchor for the three-day festival. Town Point Park
comes alive with a variety of entertainment and international
culinary treats. Saturday night's highlight is a world-class
fireworks display.

Boardwalk Art Show. Over 300 artists and craftspeople display their art
during a week in June on Virginia Beach's boardwalk from 17th Street to
31st Street. Every medium will be represented. There will be stage
performances each evening at the 24th Street Park.
