Much of the content of this course is based on input from previous participants.

Who Should Attend

This course has been developed for the family physician seeking a review and update of his/her clinical knowledge. Other primary-care providers such as general practitioners, general internists, pediatricians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants will also benefit. Residents and medical students are also invited to attend. The course will be of value to family physicians preparing to take the certification or re-certification examination of the American Board of Family Practice, but is not configured to be a comprehensive board review program.

Educational Credit

This activity has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 34 Prescribed Credits by the American Academy of Family Physicians. AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA category 1 Credit toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed Credit earned must be reported as Prescribed credit, not as category 1.
