Phones
A telephone for answering pages is located
on the wall at the entrance to the library.
Photocopiers
Self-service
copiers are located on the first, second, and third floors of the
library. Copies
are 5 cents each.
Paging
The Library does not page library users since this
creates a disturbance to those who are studying. Those who expect to be paged are
encouraged to use pocket beepers.
Study Areas
There are study tables and carrels throughout the
Library. These are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Study Rooms
There are sixteen group study rooms:
seven on the second floor and nine on the third. Each is equipped with
a VCR and monitor.
Wireless Network
A wireless network is
available in the Library for EVMS associates. Computers must be
configured by the Network Center with a special security code to
access the EVMS wireless system.
Microfiche/Microfilm
The Library has several readers and reader-printers for
both microfilm and microfiche. To use the reader-printers, ask for assistance at the
Circulation Desk. These machines are not kept stocked with paper and must be loaded by the
staff for each use.
