Basic EKG Interpretation

ACLS Provider

After this 16 hour course  participants will be able to recognize and effectively manage the first ten minutes of a major cardiac event.  Participants will demonstrate proficiency in dysrhythmia recognition, airway management, electrical therapy, and pharmacologic interventions.  Participation in the simulated management of cardiac scenarios brings together all facets of practical skills and cognitive knowledge.

ACLS Renewal

During this 8 hour course, the returning participant will review the latest AHA ACLS recommendations and  demonstrate proficiency in the management of patients with cardiovascular emergencies.

HeartCode ACLS Anywhere

TCLS supports AHA’s HeartCode ACLS Anywhere program for ACLS renewal.  Participants complete a computer based program purchased through an AHA vendor.  After completion of the program, participants are eligible to test skills during a practical evaluation here at TCLS.  A fee of $75.00 includes an AHA update, AED/BLS testing, megacode testing, remediation (if needed) and an ACLS card upon successful completion.  Please call (757) 446-5926 to register by phone.
