Occupational Health Department

The Occupational Health Department provides the following services to faculty, staff, residents and students by appointment:

Pre-placement health evaluations for incoming employees
Review of health forms for incoming students, residents and fellows
Medical clearance for respirator fit-testing
Medical surveillance
Risk assessment/enrollment in Occupational Health & Safety Program for lab animal users
Treatment for blood/body fluid exposures
Treatment for communicable disease exposures
Tuberculosis surveillance
Bloodborne pathogen training
Vaccinations
Triage of work-related injuries and illnesses
Clearance for volunteers

Release of Medical Records

The Occupational Health Department needs a written request to release documentation of immunizations and tuberculosis surveillance. Please allow seven to ten days for medical records requests to be processed.
