The Office of Development seeks to maximize contributions and other support to EVMS from individuals, corporations and foundations by creating, maintaining and enhancing mutually beneficial relationships between these entities and EVMS. The Office of Development works closely with the EVMS Foundation. The EVMS Foundation is a tax-exempt, public charity dedicated to advancing the education, research and patient care programs of Eastern Virginia Medical School.

Eastern Virginia Medical School is an academic health center dedicated to achieving excellence and fostering the highest ethical standards in medical and health professions education, research, and patient care. We strive to improve the health of our community and to be recognized as a national center of intellectual and clinical strength in medicine.
