Information for MPA Program PreceptorsThank you for your interest in precepting EVMS PA students! The mission of the Master of Physician Assistant Program is to provide premiere education defined by academic excellence, clinical and community partnerships, and a commitment to facilitate access to primary care for underserved populations. This mission cannot be fulfilled without the dedication and expertise that community preceptors volunteer to our students on a daily basis. Our preceptors are invaluable assets who significantly enhance not only the clinical skills of our students but their inter-professional development as well, ensuring our students graduate into well-groomed, professional team members we can all speak of with pride. There are several links below to take you from the steps of becoming a new preceptor and interacting with our students to maintaining an on-going relationship with the EVMS PA Program for years to come. If there are any questions that cannot be answered through this Web site, or you wish to discuss the clinical year of the EVMS PA Program in further detail, please contact Cathy Pearman, MPAS, PA-C or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
