The National Association of Medical Minority Educators (NAMME) Southern Region Student Development Program & Recruitment Fair will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at Eastern Virginia Medical School.

The day is designated for college students and graduates interested in entering the medical and health professions.

 A few of the scheduled events include :

•  a presentation on diversity and health care                                                         

• general information on entrance exams, the application process, financial aid, and admissions interview

• a presentation on social media and professionalism

• advice from current medical and health professions students

•  opportunity to meet with recruiters from medical and health professions schools
