Office of Marketing & Communications

The Office of Marketing & Communications works to raise the public profile of Eastern Virginia Medical School, manage media contacts, direct crisis communications and protect the institution's brand identity. Our office ensures that the community stays informed about the important work going on at the school and understands how important EVMS is to the health and well-being of Hampton Roads.

Media Inquiries

The Office of Marketing & Communications acts as the conduit between the media and the school. Our staff helps connect reporters with EVMS' experts sources within the constraints of news deadlines.

To speak with EVMS doctors, scientists, staff or students, call (757) 446-7070 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday:
