- EVMS Student Virtual Market - includes apartments/houses for rent, people looking for roommates, and items for sale
- The Virginian-Pilot: This is the local newspaper. Check out the classified ads for apartments in Norfolk. Make sure you look under the newspaper classifieds.
- Craigslist: Apartment listings as well as furniture for sale and many other things.
- Drive around the area you are interested in living. Many students find their apartments by calling numbers listed on "For Rent" signs. There are a lot of private owners who rent apartments without listing them in other areas.
