Neuropsychology Program - Education Print E-mail
Share

As a facet of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences within Eastern Virginia Medical School, the Dvision's staff perform significant teaching and research functions in the understanding of brain-behavior relationships. Specifically, core staff are teaching faculty for nationally accredited internship and doctoral programs in clinical psychology, and help train a variety of generalists and specialists in the medical school through graduate seminars, clinical supervision, and pertinent lectures.

The Neuropsychology Program offers outpatient assessment training to third-year clinical psychology practicum students and an elective in neuropsychology to fourth-year medical students. Didactic training is made available through seminars for our clinical psychology interns and elective coursework for doctoral clinical psychology students in the Virginia Consortium Program in Clinical Psychology.
