Lee Center of Ocular Pharmacology. This is the laboratory of Patricia Williams, Ph.D., Professor of Pharmacology, Professor of Ophthalmology. There are ample opportunities for both clinical and bench research and most residents graduate with multiple publications by the end of their training. EVMS ophthalmology residents have been recognized many times for excellence in ophthalmology research, including winning the Virginia Society of Ophthalmology resident section and Eastern Virginia School of Medicine Research Day resident section multiple times over recent years. All residents are encouraged to participate in a research project, and to present their project during ARVO in Fort Lauderdale, Florida as well as other society meetings. |
